The Sacred Web Curriculum.

Ancestry · Identity · Scholarship · Community

The Sacred Web Curriculum is BLACHE Education's flagship learning experience — a transdisciplinary, African-rooted, identity-affirming curriculum woven from the principles of the Black Cake Framework. It is built for K–graduate learners, adult re-entry programs, and the educators, families, and institutions that hold them.
The Weave

Six strands. One living web.

Each strand can stand alone as a workshop series or weave together as a full-year curriculum. Every implementation is customized to the community it serves — never franchised, never flattened.

Ancestry & Memory

Students trace the lineages — biological, cultural, intellectual — that shaped them, and learn to (re)member as an act of returning to wholeness. Sankofa in practice.

Identity & Voice

Writing, story circles, and reflective practice that affirm who learners already are before asking them to perform what they know.

Scholarship & Inquiry

Doctoral-grade research methods adapted for every age — primary sources, oral histories, and African diaspora archives.

Community & Action

Every unit ends in a community-facing artifact — a teach-back, an exhibit, a service project, a piece of public scholarship. Ubuntu in practice.

Wellness & Rhythm

Built-in pacing, embodiment, and reflection — because healing-centered learning refuses the grind.

Intergenerational Alignment

Parallel adult learning so families, caregivers, and educators walk alongside their children, not behind them.

Outcomes

What you walk away with.

  • Educators redesign units that integrate ancestry, scholarship, and student agency.
